The Wrap

Oregon's state animal has been busy near the Tigard Library. For two years, a beaver has been damming a strip of land between the Fanno Pointe Condominiums and the library, turning a trickling rivulet into something like a marsh. On Oct. 11, the Tualatin Riverkeepers, the Mayor of Tigard, a Tualatin City Councilor, and other volunteers collaborated on a Fanno Creek restoration project engineered by a beaver. Nice work, little engineer.
