Author and brain tumor survivor Jen Dary celebrates her book “I Believe in Everything: A Memoir of Illness, Motherhood, and Magic” with a reading and Q&A moderated by Portland artist Lisa Congdon. Half of the $10 ticket sales will be donated to American Brain Tumor Association.

In her debut memoir, author Jen Dary chronicles the time when, at age thirty-five, her life was flipped upside down after a routine MRI uncovered a lemon-size brain tumor. A stressed professional and mother of two, she closed her business, weaned her youngest, and braced for brain surgery. What followed was a wild journey of grief, healing, humor, and a bit of unexpected magic.
