Draw close and witness the wonders of Andrew & Courtney’s Mystery Box – a tiny traveling universe of clarinet, accordion, and musical mystery. Blending Eastern European flavors, jazz, and original
compositions, illuminated by the glow of deep listening – the kind that sparks spontaneity.
It’s two friends, two masterful musicians, opening a small box of wonders, and finding inside a magical world accompanied by an orchestra of lightning bugs.
No two nights unfold the same way. The whole experience feels like a diorama come to life, wandering onto a stage, and gently insisting you lean in closer to catch every detail.
Courtney Von Drehle — accordion
(3 Leg Torso; Carpathian Pacific Express; Michelle Alany & the
Mystics)
Andrew Alikhanov — clarinet
(Peabody-trained; Chervona; Michelle Alany & the Mystics)
Listed by Americana PDX (Squarespace), gathered by the Oregon City events calendar.
