About this event

This class aims to tap into the relationship between ease and strength in our dancing. After warming into our bodies and the space, we'll explore ways to shift, swivel, fall, jump and fly around the room. We'll try on movements that ask us to use the weight of the head and limbs to find big, full-bodied motion from a grounded place. We'll experiment with how we can ride momentum and redirect it. Class will culminate in a dynamic phrase / combo to pair artistry with technique and find greater abandon in our movement.
