About this event
Some dreams begin in the most unexpected places.
Inspired by the life of acclaimed Brazilian ballet dancer Thiago Soares, A WOLF AMONG SWANS follows a young man from the outskirts of Rio de Janeiro who trades hip-hop for the demanding world of classical ballet. Under the uncompromising guidance of Cuban mentor Dino Carrera, Thiago confronts physical, emotional, and social barriers on his path to the Royal Ballet in London. Featuring stirring performances and exhilarating choreography, this award-winning drama celebrates discipline, self-discovery, and art’s power to transcend the circumstances into which we are born.
Why We Chose This Film
Because Thiago’s journey shows what becomes possible when extraordinary talent meets discipline, mentorship, and the courage to believe in a larger future.
