About this event
JT’s Back Porch Sessions at Leisure
JT & the Mudbugs are getting together for three Sunday afternoons at Leisure Public House as they prepare to record a new batch of songs later this year.
These aren’t quite concerts and they aren’t quite rehearsals. They’re a chance to hear the band try out new songs, experiment with arrangements of old favorites, and discover which songs have the magic to make the next record.
And the audience gets a say.
Come listen, respond, and help JT & the Mudbugs decide which five or six songs should make the recording.
The core band features JT on guitar and vocals, Frankie Hernandez on drums, Ray Man on bass, and Andy Emmert on fiddle, with a different special guest joining the band each Sunday.
November 8: special guest TBA
November 15: featuring Pacific Northwest mandolin legend Spud Siegel
