Dream Theater with Tina Tau & Laura Green

Dreams are a royal road to a rich conversation --with other people and your own inner world. This group is a chance to explore and learn about dreams: how to work with them, how to recall them, how to use them to deepen your life experience.

We will be playing, particularly, with dream theater.

Performance and theater are central in the ancient shamanic practices of dream healing. Dream Theater brings all the elements of a dream to life - the dreamer can run with their dream wolf, push back a dream wave, or have a conversation with the doorknob of their dream.

In a group, we will share a dream to play with. The dreamer will then choose the cast, set the stage, choreograph the moves, and watch their dream play out - making adjustments, refinements and additions as they're called. Then we'll pause and take note - the dreamer can consider what they've seen and get feedback from the dream characters speaking in their own roles if they'd like. Finally, the dreamer can step into their own dream. They can change its unfolding, in whatever degree of collaboration with their dream characters as feels right.

This powerful work allows the dreamer to move beyond the point of fear, confusion or blockage in the original dream and explore the dream landscape in the safety of a supportive community. It deepens and bonds energies and opens pathways to understanding and resolution.

Led by Tina Tau, certified dreamworker and author of "Ask for Horses: Memoir of a Dream-Guided Life" with the support of Laura Green, co-founder of The Griefhouse, this will be a chance to play creatively with each other and the big magic of the dream world.
