About this event

**☀️ *Have you ever longed for a better world and wondered what you could actually do to help build one?***

Maybe you’ve wished people felt less alone. Maybe you’ve wanted stronger communities, healthier relationships, better education, wiser technology, more beauty, justice, or freedom, or simply more places where people can be honest with each other and figure it out together.

Maybe there’s some part of you that has always wanted to contribute. Now is your chance to share your magic. Come do something real and help move our world in a better direction.

🌿 What to Expect

At different Work Parties, we might:

• Write, research, edit, design, photograph, film, or create

• Improve our gatherings, curriculum, books, website, media, and community systems

• Dream up workshops, classes, service projects, and new programs

• Solve practical problems, organize projects, make connections, or help the community grow

• Simply tackle the little jobs that transform a beautiful idea into something that actually exists

Whatever you already know how to do, or whatever you're excited to learn, there may be a place for it here. Maybe your great gift is a spreadsheet. Maybe it’s a camera, a paintbrush, a toolbox, a good conversation, a sharp eye for problems, or carrying boxes when boxes need carrying. It all matters.

🌎 Who It’s For

This gathering is for the hidden builders:

• Artists, teachers, nerds, organizers, makers, musicians, entrepreneurs, professionals, retired experts, and curious beginners

• People with ideas scribbled in notebooks

• People who notice what could be better

• People who want their skills to mean something beyond earning a paycheck

• Anyone who wants to leave some corner of the world a little better than they found it

No résumé required. No need to understand the whole project. Just care, show up, and find something that feels worth building.

You’ll be welcomed by Devid—creator of Nine Steps to Home and its first student. He’ll bring the current projects, questions, half-built ideas, stubborn problems, and things that simply need another pair of hands—and help everyone find somewhere meaningful to jump in.

Work Parties are volunteer gatherings. Come for an afternoon, return whenever you like, learn something new, or eventually take deeper ownership of something you genuinely care about.

Bring a laptop and charger if you have them, a notebook if you like, and whatever strange collection of skills, experiences, interests, and half-forgotten dreams life has given you.
