- ➤ A recent report from Metro Supportive Housing Services showed that over 3,000 new people per month sought homeless services across the region from July 1 to June 30, with about 1,000 people exiting to permanent housing during that period—despite the program housing more than 15,700 since 2020, counties worked to expand access centers and shelters to support residents. The findings highlighted that Multnomah, Washington, and Clackamas counties made key strides in keeping more residents off the streets. KPTV
