- ➤ TriMet will cut bus service during low-ridership hours starting Nov. 30 as it battles a $300 million budget gap — riders gave feedback at open houses and online until Oct. 31, and further cuts are planned for Nov. 2026 and Dec. 2027. KPTV
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Approximately 4,000 nurses (and other health care workers) from six Kaiser Permanente hospitals in Oregon and southwest Washington went on strike Tuesday. The five-day protest, organized by the Oregon Federation of Nurses and Health Professionals (OFNHP), aimed to address staffing shortages and burnout. KPTV
