- ➤ PGE is replacing 760 poles and 45 miles of power lines in Clackamas County to improve wildfire safety. The project will finish next year—using iron poles that last 75 years and covered wires that help prevent outages and fires from falling branches. KPTV

- ➤ Oregonians have been frustrated by the new COVID vaccine rules as pharmacies require a prescription due to federal guidelines even though neighboring states do not, and local pharmacists report there is no statewide protocol yet. Some residents have traveled to Washington or chosen to wait for clearer guidance following the ACIP meeting on September 18—19. KPTV
