CRIME NEWS

  • Investigators are seeking more victims after a man was arrested for stealing tools from supply stores in Clackamas and Portland when store employees traced stolen items from Facebook Marketplace ads to him—40-year-old Zachery Gene Diluzio now faces charges including organized retail theft, identity theft, first degree theft and possession of a forged instrument.  KPTV
  • Deputies arrested 40-year-old Zachery Gene Diluzio after he allegedly tried to sell stolen tools from local businesses on Facebook Marketplace—he used a verbal password to pick up the tools and had a forged ID—and investigators believe there may be more victims.  KATU

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • TriMet said it will cut $159 million in services and $93 million in non-service spending to help reduce a $300 million budget gap—starting cuts at the end of November with possible route eliminations on March 1 and meetings with riders this fall. The transit agency plans to add a fare increase if additional funds are not provided by the state.  KPTV
