- ➤ TriMet will update its budget for the 2027 fiscal year starting July 1, 2026, cutting spending by $64.5 million and planning about 170 layoffs as it tackles a growing $224 million shortfall and soaring fuel costs (up 84%). The board will review the new budget on Wednesday. KPTV
- ➤ The Oregon Air National Guard’s 142nd Wing will conduct Memorial Day flyovers featuring the F-15 EX Eagle II + pilots will fly over areas including Oregon City, Vancouver, and other local sites beginning at 10:31 a.m. on Memorial Day to honor fallen service members. KATU
