The Oregon Zoo is asking volunteers to join the Cascades Pika Watch program to monitor American pikas near the Columbia River Gorge.
Free training sessions are scheduled May 8, 9, and 10 — volunteers will map pika habitats and help track changes in the species amid climate concerns.
