  • Governor Tina Kotek signed House Bill 4149 on March 31 to codify protections for more than 22,000 homeless students (who faced instability in the 2022-2023 school year) by guaranteeing immediate enrollment, transportation, and access to support services.  KPTV

  • Tattoo artists are challenging a recent Oregon Health Authority clarification that bans topical anesthetics, a rule that could force some cosmetic studios to relocate if client comfort is compromised (artists seek clearer enforcement guidelines).  KPTV
