Good morning, Oregon City.

A two-car crash on South Kropf Road Friday evening injured a Woodburn mother and her 6-year-old son, while 40-year-old Tyler Ryan Sahnow of Beaverton was pronounced dead when his 2012 Chevrolet Express work van collided with a 2017 Chevrolet Suburban overturned in a ditch—investigators are checking if the van left its lane.

The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office led a 10-hour operation on March 27 that resulted in 25 arrests and the recovery of over $4,700 in stolen merchandise including a gun.

The coordinated mission—featuring several law enforcement agencies—also uncovered details of a fencing operation and set the stage for future actions against organized retail theft.
