Good morning, Oregon City.

A car left the roadway near the intersection of SE 72nd and SE Alberta late Saturday night in Clackamas County and crashed, killing one person as investigators suspect speed was a factor—fire crews later extinguished the blaze on a white 2012 Infiniti found near SE Label and SE 74th.

The Oregon Department of Forestry sent 26 firefighters and 2 agency representatives to North Carolina to fight multiple wildfires at the Black Cove incident—many arrived on March 23 and will work in a two-week rotation while Oregon keeps its fire management system ready.
