Come gather in singing sacred names and shared devotion. Kīrtan is a joyful, heart opening call and response chanting practice that uplifts the spirit, invites connection within ourselves, with each other and with the divine. All voices welcome, exactly as you are, no experience needed

Based in Portland, Kana Hattori is a devotional singer and kīrtan leader who offers this practice as a path of joy, bliss, devotion and deep emotional honesty from lived experience and deep gratitude. Kīrtan carried her through some of the most challenging seasons of her life, becoming a source of strength, refuge, trust and renewal. Now she shares it regularly in community, holding gentle, heart-centered spaces where all voices are welcome.

Rooted in Bhakti, guided by heart, her offerings invite others to connect deeply within themselves, with each other and with the sacred, and to discover the joy, healing that awaken when we sing together, remembering that our own voices are medicine, and that devotion can be both powerful and tender.
