🌊 THE GALES OF NOVEMBER: ST. JOHN’S EVE RUN

November 10 marks the anniversary of the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald in 1975, forever captured in Gordon Lightfoot’s haunting song The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.

Inspired by the anniversary and the November winds, we're heading out along the Willamette.

We'll cross the towering Gothic arches of St. John’s Bridge, descend to Cathedral Park, and continue through North Portland toward University Park before retracing our steps back to the start.

Full route: 6.5 miles

Shorter option: approximately 4 miles Turn around at North Carey Blvd and follow the same route back to the start.
