About this event

Because of popular demand we are opening a new series of off-campus , Saturday classes in Southeast Portland!

Slöyd is a historical Scandinavian method of education that used woodworking to develop character in children. Still utilized today in some of the highest performing schools around the globe, key elements of the original Theory of Educational Sloyd by Otto Salomon have been replicated and cited in our offering. Its an engaging woodworking program tailored for students ages 6-14 , designed to foster character development during their formative years.

Each month a student signs up the course will build upon what they have learning before. It is learning at their pace. You can sign up for multiple classes in a row or skip and come back a few months later.

About the Instructor
