About this event

"This was such a unique class, using body resistance and dynamic graceful movements to build strength." - "Such a joyous class to move to. My body and mind always feel better after." Margot Ledford Class Goal: Sustainable Strength is the foundation for physiologic change, preparing your body for transformative mental and spiritual practices. Complementing mindful movement routines, expect to practice unique exercises that build strength and cultivate mobility in both muscles and joints. The goal is to target areas of the body that are often reluctant to engage, creating a solid physical base to support deeper experiences. Sustainable Strength helps you align the physical with the profound, offering a practice that supports you on every level. Demographic: This class is designed to be inclusive of all practitioners. The nature of the class recognizes that the body is the essential tool we use to connect, explore, and ultimately find liberation. Using a variety of props, resistance tools, and body weight, you’ll strengthen and stabilize your unique vessel. When the vessel is cared for and aligned, transformative experiences in mind and spirit can arise more fluidly. Level: All Levels. Explore movement with curiosity and connection. All-level classes welcome everyone, offering an inclusive space to explore movement with a deeply personal connection fostered by the teacher’s approach. These classes are designed to be adaptable, with modifications and progressions to meet the needs of every participant, from beginners to advanced practitioners. The focus is on connecting with your body, improving mobility, and experiencing mindful movement in a supportive and encouraging environment. Content is thoughtfully chosen to resonate with everyone, whether you’re a skilled dancer, a computer programmer, or somewhere in between, ensuring the material supports the unique needs of being human.
