About this event
I was intimidated by this class, but it was approachable and effective without being overwhelming. I left feeling great--stronger and more in tune with my body. Maybe even a little taller? Highly recommend! Class Goal: This reformer-based class specifically focuses on arms and abs. Designed to counteract the effects of modern habits like "tech-neck" and "desk-slouch," this class leverages the reformer’s versatility to focus on thoracic spine alignment, chest opening, and extension-based abdominal exercises. Focusing on strength and mobility of the upper body, it’s an opportunity to rise out of the “Eeyore slump” and embrace confidence and space. Demographic: This class is designed to be inclusive of all practitioners. Perfect for desk workers, movement enthusiasts, or anyone looking for a powerful posture reset. Level: Level 1. This level is ideal for those new to movement practices or returning after a break. Whether you're exploring Yoga, Pilates, or CoreAlign, the focus is on building a strong foundation. You'll develop body awareness, proper alignment, core engagement, and breath control. Movements and poses are simple, intentional, and low-impact, designed to help you gain confidence, improve mobility, and establish sustainable movement patterns.
