About this event
This is an introductory class for those interested in diving into the contemporary dance world. What is contemporary dance? It is a large container of elements pulling from jazz, ballet, modern and many other styles of dance. Classes can incorporate elements of floorwork, improvisation, technique, and choreography. Since this style of dance is so varied, we encourage you to try many different teachers to see what style of contemporary works for you. All classes welcome bodies at all levels and abilities because if you have a body you are a dancer! Level: Beginner+ Ages: 14+
