Giving Tuesday 2026: Introducing LitterBugs!

Tuesday, December 1, 2026 | 5:00–9:00 PM

This Giving Tuesday, join the Parks Foundation of Clark County as we officially launch LitterBugs — a new program that brings together cleaner parks, community service and support for local youth.

Created by Aaron Dawson of Opsahl Dawson , LitterBugs has a simple idea at its heart: help clean up our parks while creating opportunities for local youth sports teams to earn money for their programs.

The Parks Foundation is building a dedicated LitterBugs fund that will allow participating youth sports teams to earn money for their programs by completing organized park cleanups throughout Clark County. LitterBugs will also organize volunteer cleanups for individuals, families, businesses and community organizations that simply want to roll up their sleeves and help.

And we’re already getting started! LitterBugs has been approved to participate in Clark County’s Adopt-a-Park program, with Blurock Landing as our first adopted park.

Celebrate Giving Tuesday With Us

Join us at McMenamins on the Columbia from 5–9 PM on December 1 to celebrate the launch, learn more about LitterBugs and help us build the fund that will support future youth sports team cleanups.

50% of proceeds from the evening will be donated directly to the LitterBugs program , helping establish the reserve that will fund these opportunities for local youth teams.

Come have a great evening, support local parks and help us launch a program where everyone wins: cleaner parks, engaged young people and stronger youth sports programs.

Clean Parks. Strong Teams. Better Community.

More information about upcoming LitterBugs cleanups, youth team opportunities and volunteer events is coming soon!
