About:

**Doss** has come to represent something increasingly rare in the world of dance music: not just a sound, but an ethos, tension, collage of disparate moods coalescing around a single idea. From her 2014 self-titled debut to her 2021 EP, 4 New Hit Songs, the cult-favorite producer, vocalist, and DJ has worked with everything from manic drum patterns and vocal contortions to blustery ambient and shoegaze. At once far-reaching and conceptually unified, Doss’ artistic practice is best captured by her gnomic slogan: It’s the music. Don’t worry too much about trying to box it in.

**CFCF** is the moniker of Mike Silver, a self-taught, Grammy-nominated AllMusic electronic musician, producer, and composer. Initially gaining traction online through a series of bootleg remixes in the late 2000s, Silver has spent his career continuously shifting styles while maintaining a core on nostalgia and emotional atmosphere. His versatile discography spans the Balearic disco of his 2009 debut album Continent, ambient and new-age explorations like 2015's The Colours of Life, and uncool-yet-earnest nods to soft rock and smooth jazz. He is widely co-credited with pioneering the internet-spawned "night bus" aesthetic, and his critical acclaim includes a 2015 Grammy nomination, a Polaris Music Prize shortlisting for the Y2K-inspired 2021 LP Memoryland, and a pivot toward electroclash and '00s indie dance on his 2026 album L.U.V.
