About this event
This reformer-based class is all about creating sustainable and resilient physical habits through the Pilates method. Drawing from both classical and contemporary teachings, the reformer becomes a tool for refining movement patterns, improving spinal health, and enhancing core and joint support. By focusing on alignment and quality of movement, you’ll learn to recognize your body’s baseline and integrate these principles into your daily activities. Build strength, improve posture, and move through life with greater ease and confidence. Level 1: Establish Foundational classes at Level 1 are not necessarily easy—they are the cornerstone of mindful movement practices. These classes focus on repetition and refinement, drawing from Yoga, Pilates, and CoreAlign traditions to cultivate a strong foundation. Rather than aiming for a specific workout goal, Level 1 classes at The Practice Space emphasize the process of executing the practice with intention and precision. You'll develop body awareness, proper alignment, core engagement, and breath control. Movements and poses are thoughtfully designed to help you gain confidence, improve mobility, and create sustainable movement patterns that support long-term growth.
