BRIC Architecture Career Day

About this event

Step inside BRIC Architecture’s office in the Pearl District for a hands-on introduction to architecture and design! PWA students will meet members of the BRIC team, explore careers in architecture, and put their creativity to work through a fun design activity. The day will offer students a chance to ask questions, connect with professionals, and get a firsthand look at an architecture workplace.

How to attend:

Step 1: Fill out the student interest form ASAP. (Type your email address and cell number carefully so we can reach you!)

Step 2: Have your parent/guardian fill out the parent/guardian permission form ASAP . (Your application can’t be considered until this is done.) Students who do this early have much better luck at being accepted.

Step 3: PWA will contact you to let you know if you’re accepted or waitlisted, or if the career day is full.

Step 4: Show up and have an amazing time!

Who can attend:

High school students in the Portland metro area are encouraged and welcome to apply. We prioritize students from our partner school districts when space is limited (Gresham-Barlow, North Clackamas, Parkrose Portland Public Schools, Reynolds, Oregon Charter Academy).

PWA Inclusion Statement: We welcome students from all racial backgrounds and ethnicities, citizenship statuses, socioeconomic backgrounds, gender identities and expressions, sexual orientations, religions and abilities.
