About this event
Samples of my treasure boxes as well as students!
This workshop will be held at : Stephanie Burton Studios
Address: 2706 NW 98th Street, Vancouver WA 98665
Recall the times when you used to paint and collage old cigar boxes? This concept is inspired by that idea. We'll decide on a color theme and gather our papers. I'll show you my method for creating my treasure box, and then you'll have the freedom to decorate your own special box. This year, 2026, is the year of the FIRE HORSE, which is my Chinese Astrological Sign. Therefore, my box focuses on letting go of what I don't need and welcoming opportunities, good health, and nurturing my friendships.
Materials includes:
• Boxes provided
• Collage packets
• Shared paint brushes
• All-purpose glue
• Shared acrylic paints
• Ribbon for our book closure
Supplies Needed to bring for Class:
• old Shirt
• Feel free to bring any of your supplies from home but not neccessary
**Students of every experience level are welcome!
Date: Sunday, November 15th (10am-2pm)
