About this event
Little Ninja classes are open to 3 to 5 year olds, and any 6 year olds that need a little extra time before moving up to higher level classes. (All 5 year olds new to Skyhook must start in little ninja classes before progressing to any other higher level 5+ classes.) Little Ninja classes are a fun and engaging form of movement-based activity designed specifically for young children between the ages of 3 to 5 years old. These classes provide a safe and supportive environment for preschoolers to explore and develop their physical abilities, coordination, and cognitive skills through age-appropriate ninja based exercises and activities. The class typically begins with a warm-up that includes gentle stretches, simple movements, and interactive songs or games to get toddlers excited and engaged. The instructor will then introduce basic Skyhook skills and movements, such as rolling, crawling, crawling under or over low obstacles, balancing, and jumping, through playful and interactive exercises that are designed to stimulate their imagination and creativity. Preschoolers in Little Ninja classes will have the opportunity to explore various training equipment, such as mats, balance beams, soft play equipment, bar work, climbing walls in a safe and supervised environment. They will learn basic body positions, coordination exercises, and spatial awareness, while also developing gross motor skills, strength, flexibility, and balance. Preschoolers will have the opportunity to socialize with other children, develop social skills, and gain confidence in a structured and supportive environment. Parental participation may be required in some classes, depending on the age and developmental stage of the child. Safety is a top priority in Little Ninja classes, and instructors will closely supervise toddlers at all times, ensuring that the activities are age-appropriate and safe. Soft surfaces and appropriate equipment will be used to minimize the risk of injuries, and activities will be adapted to the developmental level and abilities of our students. Overall, Little Ninja class offers a fun and stimulating opportunity for young children to develop their physical abilities, coordination, and social skills in a safe and supportive environment. It is a great way for toddlers to explore movement, gain confidence, and have fun while learning fundamental Skyhook skills.
