About this event
This CoreAlign class is perfect for students recovering from injury, working on standing postural habits, or seeking to refine intrinsic support. Using the CoreAlign’s dynamic sliding surfaces, the focus is on turning down compensatory patterns and activating key intrinsic stabilizers. Exercises are designed to quiet large muscle groups and engage the deep core (transverse abdominis), pelvic floor, and spinal stabilizers (multifidus). Intrinsic work in standing positions adds a functional component, helping students translate these skills into everyday scenarios. This class empowers students to develop new movement strategies and release old habits for greater ease and resilience in daily life. All Levels: Explore movement with curiosity and connection. All-level classes welcome everyone, offering an inclusive space to explore movement with a deeply personal connection fostered by the teacher’s approach. These classes are designed to be adaptable, with modifications and progressions to meet the needs of every participant, from beginners to advanced practitioners. The focus is on connecting with your body, improving mobility, and experiencing mindful movement in a supportive and encouraging environment. Content is thoughtfully chosen to resonate with everyone, whether you’re a skilled dancer, a computer programmer, or somewhere in between, ensuring the material supports the unique needs of being human.
