About this event
ORGANically Dead is a dynamic organ trio that breathes fresh,
soulful life into the iconic catalog of the Grateful Dead. Bringing together
the classic, deeply pocketed instrumentation of Hammond B3 organ, guitar, and
drums, this powerhouse trio unearths its deep, underlying rhythm-and-blues
roots.
Drawing heavy inspiration from the legendary 1960s and 70s
soul-jazz era, evoking the greasy, improvisational spirits. ORGANically
Dead honors the improvisational ethos while carving out a distinct,
danceable, and deeply hypnotic sonic footprint.
Whether you are a die-hard Deadhead looking for a brand-new twist
on your favorite tunes, or a jazz purist chasing a heavy Hammond groove, this
trio delivers a high-energy, improvisational experience that is as
organically grown as it is deeply soulful.
