About this event
Our Sessions Have 1,500+ 5-Star Reviews!
A KEY aspect of every pickleball game is: How do the serving team players get to the kitchen line and force the receiving team to dink with them, thus neutralizing the point and eliminating the built-in advantage the receiving team has on every point? The answer is Drives, Drops, and Resets. We will practice these key shots with and without the ball machine, with a focus on the wildly popular and successful strategy of "third shot drive, fifth shot drop." If you're still playing pickleball without a plan to win, this session is for you!
Drop shots are a VITAL bridge between playing at the 3.0 level and advancing to 3.5 and 4.0. Players who never learn this technique become "bangers" -- players who only hit drives all the time because they cannot hit drop shots!
The clinic is taught by Bob Wolfe, 4.0 player and Level 1 Certified Instructor through the International Pickleball Teaching Professionals Association. Waiver is required prior to play, 18+ only please.
