Kitten Snuggle & Pop-Up Market

About this event

Tired? Stressed out? In the mood to cuddle a lapful of kittens? Breakside Brewery Slabtown and Portland Animal Rescue Connection invite you to unwind at this special event!

Guests are invited to enter “kitten tents” and snuggle an entire litter of adorable, adoptable kittens provided by Furry Friends cat rescue! You can even fill out an adoption application if you meet the perfect furry friend. Enhance your relaxation with a beer on tap, cocktail or snack from Breakside’s excellent menu.

After your time in the kitten tent, browse a pop-up market full of pet-themed items from local makers. Shop items by vendors including Sun Seer Studio, Crow City Cookies, Remedy Candle & Apothecary and Supercool Ceramics, or get a pet portrait drawn by artist Tori Herstedt. (Market isopen from noon to 4 pm.)

All cuddling proceeds and 10 percent of the day’s beer sales benefit Furry Friends animal rescue. $5 minimum donation for five minutes of snuggling per person payable by cash, credit card, or Apple Pay.

Please note kitten snuggles are available on a first-come, first-served basis. To ensure PARC can accommodate you and your party, please arrive as close to the event start time as possible.
