Reptiles & Terrariums: Naturalistic Build-Along

Join us at Portland Reptile Lounge for an evening of creativity, nature, education, and community!

Whether you're new to keeping reptiles or an experienced hobbyist looking to improve your enclosure, this hands-on workshop is an opportunity to learn, create, and connect with others who share your love for animals and nature.

We'll explore the fundamentals of naturalistic habitat design, reptile husbandry, and how thoughtfully designed environments can support the health, comfort, and natural behaviors of the animals in our care.

What to Expect:

Guided naturalistic terrarium building experience

Education on habitat design, plants, substrates, and reptile husbandry

Starter building materials included with admission

Additional plants, and building materials available for purchase

A $200 enclosure giveaway with one entry per guest!

Bring Your Own Enclosure

Guests are responsible for bringing their own empty enclosure. Starter materials will be provided, with additional materials available for purchase to help customize your build.

Important Preparation: Reptile-safe silicone should be applied at least 24 hours before the workshop to allow adequate curing time before applying expanding foam. Always follow the manufacturer's curing instructions and ensure the silicone is fully cured before attending. email us: team@portlandreptilelounge.com with questions

Ticket Options

Individual Build — $70 Includes admission for one guest, starter building materials, guided instruction, and one giveaway entry.

Partner Build — $105 Bring a friend, family member, or partner! Includes admission for two guests, materials for one shared build, guided instruction, and two individual giveaway entries.
