Colin Meloy and Carson Ellis dreamed it up right here, Hillsboro's Laika spent years building it frame by frame, and now Pairings Portland is pouring nine wines inspired by nine of its characters. It lands three weeks after the film hits theaters, which is just enough time to see it, reread the books, and settle on a strong opinion about which villain deserves the darkest pour.
